Acjuva Reviews
Acjuva is an all natural acne treatment that has a three step process to treating acne:
- Acne Cleanser. This all natural cleasner will gently remove dirt and dead skin cells whilst helping your skin to heal and fight blemishes
- Renewing Toner. Another all natural product that unclogs your pores and removes excess oil from the skin without over drying it so your skin feels refreshed
- Repairing Lotion. Again a natural lotion that heals blackheads and prevents future outbreaks
It is all very well saying that a treatment will clear blackheads and remove all excess oil whilst keeping your skin feeling it’s best because that is what we all want. However, if you do not have the ingredients than it is obvious that it won’t happen.
There are some good points to this treatment. It uses Tea Tree Oil which works like benzoyl peroxide to remove excess oil and kill bacteria. In tests people experienced fewer side effects with tea tree oil than benzoyl peroxide but didn’t experience the same results. If you increase the concentration of Tea Tree Oil to a level where it matches benzoyl peroxide’s effectiveness than the side effects increase too.
This product is kind to your skin and is all natural so there are some good points but it doesn’t really work as effectively as an acne treatment should. It is best to combine scientific ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid at low concentrations (so that they are kind to the skin) with natural ingredients that boost the power of the treatment and still keep your skin healthy. It is this combination that means Exposed is our highest rated acne treatment
